Friends,

It was such a delight to see photos of you reading to the wonderful children in your lives. I especially appreciated the multiple interpretations. Some of you read digital books and poems, while others read from hardcopies. Some got their iPads and snuggled in with those who were near. I even saw a few virtual readings to teens! Whatever way, and whomever you chose, I am sure it was impactful and tender. I decided to read (via zoom) to each of my children separately. They enjoyed the personalized virtual connection, even though we were in the same home. Fostering intimacy with loved ones isn’t always easy. However, with intentionality we can draw them closer through shared experiences.
